PSA Videos for the 2014-15 school year.
Project: Students studied endangered animals, watershed issues, local community issues that are connected to endangered animals and our own watershed, then worked with experts in our community to build a better understanding. Students also studied the components of a PSA, then crafted their own PSA around a topic of interest.
This is an inclusive project: Students in the LifeSkills program to the TAG program participated. Students can be agents of positive change. Students are powerful agent of improvement within their own community. Give students a compelling reason/problem, the necessary tools to conduct research, organize, and create a project, and community partners and the results are amazing. Social media is the game changer- the messages get out through the parents and the larger community.
