Regular websites with typing learning activities:

I am learning WHERE to place my fingers as I type.  

  1. Dance Mat Typing- another British site (has annoying goat character)   You need to scroll down to “level 1” play, then start the lessons. 

 

I can already place my hands out on the keyboard and now need to practice SPEED. 

  1. Keyboard Climbers– Get the monkey from one level to another by typing the correct letter.
  2. Cup Stacker- Type in the LETTERS–
  3. Typing Factory- wait for the directions to run all the way through. Practices specific keys, starting with home row keys.

ADVANCED:  Now I need to practice typing in complete words very quickly

  1. Typing Adventure– diver and sharks- ADVANCED as you MUST type in complete words very quickly
  2. Typing Factory- wait for the directions to run all the way through.
